The couple was recently spotted waiting for their car in Los Angeles after dining out with a group of people, and fans couldn’t help but praise them for looking “so normal” as a thriving couple. “They are why I still believe love exists,” another person said. A third fan commented:
“They are such a beautiful and loving couple! Very low-key and down to earth.”
Gellad and Prinze Jr. met in 1997 while working on the movie “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Their relationship started as friends, and it wasn’t until three years later that they started dating. During those times, Prinze Jr. would cook for his partner, making sure she ate enough.
He would also drive her to and from places, given she did not have a driver’s license. As he recalled, he would take her to Wilmington during their days off at work to bond. Although some of their philosophies did not align, they still found common ground and fell in love with each other.
The couple have been married for 21 years, and they remain in as in love as ever. In a previous interview, the couple revealed that the secret to a long-lasting relationship is making each other laugh. “If they stop making you laugh, then your days are numbered,” Prinze Jr. quipped.
Another piece of advice Gellar gave was not to share a bathroom. Although she did not expound on this, she said it was one of her best advice.
