Ryan Reynolds Reveals Youngest Child’s Name at New York City Premiere
At the New York City premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds shared a special announcement about his family. During the event, he revealed the name of his youngest child with Blake Lively.
Family Acknowledgment
“I want to start by thanking my wife, Blake, who is here,” Reynolds told the audience. He also expressed gratitude to his children James, Inez, Betty, and Olin, who were present. “I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing—meaning, the contents of this movie—that happens in your wondrous life.”
“I love that my entire family is here,” he added.
Family Milestones
Reynolds, 47, and Lively, 36, are parents to daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4. Last February, they welcomed their fourth child, just five months after confirming Lively’s pregnancy. “We’re very excited. Look, we wouldn’t do this four times if we didn’t love it,” Reynolds shared on CNBC’s Power Lunch on February 13, 2023. “Everybody’s doing great. Everybody’s actually doing fantastic. If we hadn’t figured it out by now, I think we’d be in deep, deep trouble.”

Earlier, Reynolds and Lively attended the ceremony honoring Reynolds with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on December 15, 2016, and the 2022 Met Gala on May 2, 2022. During these events, they kept details of their fourth child’s name and sex private.
Name Reveal
Reynolds had previously mentioned that the couple waits to learn the sex of their baby until birth. “We never find out until the baby is born,” he told Today. “I know girls. So, I’m kind of hoping for that, but I’m ready for whatever happens.”
