Gary Graham, 73, died. He was an actor who was best known for his roles in Star Trek and Alien Nation.
Susan Lavelle, Graham’s ex-wife, wrote on Facebook early Tuesday morning that he had died.
Graham’s health started to get worse, but no one knows why yet. In a Facebook post, his daughter Haylee Graham said that he was on life support and would soon be taken off of it.
“My dad is being taken off life support soon I appreciate everyone reaching out and your sympathies…thank you so much,” she said.
It was “suddenly” that Lavelle wrote that Graham had died.
“This wasn’t expected, it came out of nowhere,” Haylee said.
Graham died with his wife Becky Graham by his side.
News outlets say he passed away Monday at a hospital in Spokane, Washington.
Most people knew him as Vulcan Ambassador Soval in Star Trek: Enterprise and Detective Matthew Sikes in Alien Nation. He was 73 years old.
Lavelle wrote on Facebook, “It is with deep, deep sadness that I say Gary Graham, my ex-husband, amazing actor, and father of our beautiful only child together, Haylee Graham, has died today.”
“We are heartbroken, especially our daughter Haley.” His wife Becky was with him.
“This happened quickly, so please pray for our daughter as she deals with grief.”
“Gar, fly high into the sky!”
“Thank you for our journey and thank you for the gifts you left me in acting, my love of horses, and most importantly, our daughter.”
In an Instagram story, Haylee said that she is in a lot of pain over the death of her father.
In the post, Haylee said, “This hurts like I’ve never felt anything before.”
“Tell your parents you love them.”
“I love you so much Dad, may angels bring you in.”
He was born in Long Beach, California, on June 6, 1950.
He also wrote and played music.
He and Becky had been married since 1999.
The reason Graham became an actor was to meet a girl in college “who was into theater, so I figured I’d give that a try,” he told Celebrate Life Magazine in 2009.
He played lead parts in over 40 movies and 38 TV shows.
