Sylvester Stallone is being greeted with open arms in Florida and is “permanently” departing California.
The news was made by the “Rocky” hero during the second season premiere of the reality series “The Family Stallone.”
“After a thorough and thoughtful deliberation, your mother and I have determined it is time to move on and permanently depart from the state of California. We will be traveling to Florida,” Sylvester informed his three daughters, Scarlet, 21, Sistine, 25, and Sophia, 27. The statement was directed towards his spouse of 26 years, Jennifer Flavin.
“We’re going to sell this house,” he continued. The home is already ours; everything is finalized.
In a statement posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Friday, Casey DeSantis, the wife of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, welcomed the Stallone family to Florida.
“Welcome to the Florida Free State!” A video of Stallone talking to his daughters was included with Casey’s writing.
“You can purchase toothpaste without needing an armed guard at CVS to unlock it for you, in addition to honoring and defending your God-given, constitutional right to be free,” she continued.
