Gutfeld Mocks Lia Thomas For Telling Women How To Behave. Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld chastised former University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas for having the audacity to dictate behavior to women after Thomas, who falsely represents herself as a woman, implied that female athletes who berate Thomas for participating in women’s sports are “transphobic” but are afraid to express it.
Speaking to former NCAA swimmer Schuyler Bailar, who self-identifies as a man, on Bailar’s podcast, Thomas made the remarks, which included the accusation that treating men as men and women as women was based on “patriarchal ideas.” When questioned about a letter that Thomas’s female teammates wrote to the NCAA objecting to its regulations allowing Thomas to play women’s sports, Thomas said,
“They’re sort of pushing transphobic attitudes under the cover of feminism. Many people in that group, in my opinion, harbor an unconscious prejudice against transgender people that they may not want to completely express or voice. They attempt to dismiss it as this kind of partial support as a result. I must give the swimmer some credit first. Lia has some serious balls, as Gutfeld teasingly said. “You gotta say that’s pretty gutsy, to tell feminists how to be a feminist.”
“Humans dislike line cutters almost instinctively, almost biologically,” the speaker claimed. “When men in sports who identify as women win a lot, it feels like you’re cutting in line.”
