Colin Kaepernick DEMANDS a fair chance from NFL

Colin Kaepernick is eyeing for a comeback

Colin Kaepernick last participated in an NFL game in 2016. Kaepernick believes he has been “blacklisted” by all the teams since none of them will add him to a roster following his protesting during the turmoil surrounding the national anthem. Now that his pro football career has over, the former quarterback wants a second chance and wants it to be fair despite all the political drama.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Colin Kaepernick stated that he continues to train weekly and that he would not give up because he is confident in his ability to lead the league. “Every workout and every chance I’ve had to demonstrate that, the response has always been positive,” he continued. Everything from “The workout was great;” to “He’s still an elite player;”

The former signal-caller for the San Francisco 49ers claimed that he was passed over by teams for a number of reasons that he believes are related to the event. Kaepernick wants teams to evaluate him only on the basis of his football skills. “Clearly, there’s more involved in this choice,” he remarked. It usually turns out that way, in my opinion, and it has for the past seven years. I only want the chance to enter the game and demonstrate my abilities. That is how you should judge me, not your political prejudice.

Last year, Colin Kaepernick nearly returned to the football field.

The Las Vegas Raiders extended an invitation to Kaepernick to work out last season. According to some rumors, the Raiders were pleased with the 35-year-old and planned to contract him to serve as Derek Carr’s backup. But nothing worked out, so Las Vegas decided to move forward with Jarrett Stidham.

The former second-round selection is now pleading with teams to put their franchise’s future in the hands of a man who, at 35, screams elderly in football years. Even 2023 MVP quarterback Cam Newton was considering a 2023 comeback, but no team made a move to sign him. Teams don’t need to waste time on players who might have one or two strong seasons because there is a lot of youthful talent in the league.
